Chocolate Microwave Mug Cake

A quick, decadent, fudgy chocolate cake ready directly from the microwave in under two minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder & pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp Milk & 1 tbsp melted butter or oil
  • 1 tbsp Chocolate chips

Steps

    In an 8oz or larger microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and pinch of salt.

    Pour in the milk and melted butter/oil. Whisk with a small fork until batter is smooth with no flour pockets remaining. Drop chocolate chips directly into the center.

    Microwave on high for 60 to 70 seconds. Allow to rest and cool for 2 minutes before digging in.
